What data we process

Browsing most of the website (introduction, services, blog, development log) does not require any personal data. However, we do process personal data in the following two cases:

• Contact form: the name, email address and message you provide are processed solely to respond to your inquiry, and reach us by email. They are not stored in a database; we keep them in our correspondence for as long as needed to reply.
• Forum registration: to use the forum we ask for a username, email address and password (stored encrypted/hashed). We process this data to operate the forum (login, displaying the author of posts) until the user requests deletion of the account, or requests its deletion at office.sandimi@gmail.com.

Legal basis

In both cases the legal basis for processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given by filling in the form or by registering.

Data transfer

We do not pass on or sell your data to third parties, nor use it for marketing purposes. Our hosting provider (szerverzum.hu) has technical access to the server as a data processor.

Cookies

We use a cookie to maintain the forum login session, and a separate cookie to remember your language choice. The forum session cookie is deleted when you close your browser; the language cookie is valid for one year. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

You may request a copy, correction or deletion of the data we hold about you at any time at office.sandimi@gmail.com. You may also file a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
